Understanding the Armor (Part I)

(Ephesians 6: 14-15)

Analogy: “a similarity between like features of two things, on which a comparison may be based. In this passage, Paul uses the analogy of physical armor to illustrate spiritual truths.

Further, your Armor not only protects you spiritually, but also lets the enemy know what you’re coming with”

 

I. The Belt of Truth

IV. Epilogue –– Ready for the Battle

When our enemies heard that it was known to us and that God had frustrated their plan, we all returned to the wall, each to his work. From that day on, half of my servants worked on construction, and half held the spears, shields, bows, and coats of mail. And the leaders stood behind the whole house of Judah, who were building on the wall. Those who carried burdens were loaded in such a way that each labored on the work with one hand and held his weapon with the other(Nehemiah 4:15-17)
