Teaching the Bible
As we seek “with the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ; to enfold the unchurched into a fellowship of believers, and to disciple them unto maturity”, the teaching at Friendship is foremost unadulteratedly Biblical, designed to engender and develop a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and lead the believer into a life of discipleship.
“And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.”
The Scriptures were written to teach and encourage us by giving us hope, so that we might also for others teach and encourage, giving the hope of Jesus. We foster a Berean (Acts 17:11) approach to the study of the Word and the searching for and seeking of God’s truth, so that we know what and why we believe making it applicable in our lives, we are enabled and ready to help others also do so, and we are armed and protected by His truth from false teachings.
