1 Peter 4:1-2

“Since therefore Christ suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves with the same way of thinking, for whoever has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin, so as to live for the rest of the time in the flesh no longer for human passions but for the will of God” – In this age of prosperity preaching, suffering has become an almost unspoken, dirty word in many Churches. Yet, as the Word plainly states, because Christ suffered for our redemption, we should be prepared to follow in His footsteps and accept whatever God’s will is for our lives; even if the will of God means we may have to endure some suffering: for truly, into each life, a little rain must fall.
