And David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because all the people were bitter in soul, each for his sons and daughters. But David strengthened himself in the LORD his God” – As we live our lives, there will be times of sorrow and great tragedy — but even those troubling times, as we wrestle in the depths of our grief and anguish, and when it seems that all have turned against you (sometimes even close family and friends), it is in those dark hours that the believer must reach out in faith and find renewed courage and strength in the Lord our God!
