location. The following is a list of our regular activities:
Adult Sunday School - Sundays 9:30 A.M.
Many people living in our community are only able to participate regularly on
Sundays and sporadically during the week. Adult Sunday School is designed to further your
understand of the Bible in a more intimate format where you can discuss the topic and ask
questions relevant to your situation in life. The study is led by Andrew Holybee each Sunday
morning at 09:30 A.M.
Bible Adventures! - Wednesdays 7:15 P.M.
Want to explore the Bible and learn more about Jesus? Want to do it in an
atmosphere of Christian friendship, support, fun and prayer? Bible Adventures! is open to all
ages from beginners to the biblical scholar. Bible Adventures! loosely follows preprinted
materials as a starting point, but quickly shifts to a general discussion format. This study
deliberately promotes a sense of community and acceptance. Pastor Phil DuBois tries to maintain
some semblance of order each Wednesday night beginning at 07:15 P.M. The Kid's Club is available
for those with children.
Couples' Fellowship - Sunday 6:00 P.M.
Engaged and married couples meet for friendship and a Bible study series on
improving marriages. These small group discussions range from the very serious to the extremely
silly. Currently, we are going through the study guide from "After you say I-do." Mike &
Norma Martinez both host and lead the Couples' Fellowship on Sunday evenings at their residence.
Dine In / Dine Out - Last Sunday of each month, around dinner time
Sure, you know a lot of people by name at Friendship, but wouldn't you like to
get to know them better? Sharing a meal can be a comfortable way to deepen friendships. If you
like to eat out, or if you like to invite people over, sign up for our Dine-in/Dine-out groups!
Those who enjoy hosting people at their homes and join Dine-In, and those who enjoy eating out
together is larger groups should join Dine-Out. These groups meet the last Sunday of each month
for dinner and are coordinated by Ashley Thompson from our church office.
Kid's Club - Wednesdays 7:15 P.M.
Kid's Club is essentially Bible Adventures! for kids. It is a time of fun and
learning, and also a time of trying to stay out of trouble. Melanie Cardoza performs a minor
miracle every Wednesday night beginning 07:15 P.M.
Newcomer's Class - Sundays 9:30 A.M.
If you want to meet some new friends, know more about Friendship, our beliefs,
our vision for the future, our mission and goals and how to become a member, then come to our
five-part Newcomer's Class. This class is led by an elder and assisted by a deacon.
Saturday Morning Prayer & Fellowship - Saturday 7:00 A.M.
The Bible encourages us to meet regularly for prayer and the breaking of bread.
This is a group where adults, both single and married, meet for prayer, Bible study and
friendship. Bring your own coffee, although donuts are provided on occasion, depending on the
diets of those who are attending. Elder Mike Martinez starts the group with a thought from
Scripture at 07:00 A.M. every Saturday.
