“But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do” – There is a war within and either the Flesh or the Spirit will win. It’s one or the other; you can’t be both. We all have that internal struggle and how we wage that war determines how we walk in our lives. While believers may lose skirmishes and battles from time to time, they should not be not discouraged because in the hour of need, God can help them to find the strength in Him to walk by the Spirit victoriously and win the war!
