“For who knows a person’s thoughts except the spirit of that person, which is in him? So also no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God…They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us. But they went out, that it might become plain that they all are not of us” – Indeed, none of us really know the true heart and intentions of someone else. Truly, only time and their actions will make what is hidden in their hearts known. However, from time to time, inklings of who people really are can be seen.  Unfortunately, far too often in the world of the Church, we become so enamored with charismatic personalities that we overlook obvious signs that such “church rock stars” may not be all they appear to be. Remember Saints, while Judas walked with the Lord and was one of the twelve, in the end he betrayed him with a kiss — for as the old adage goes, “All that glitters is not gold!”
