There are lots of Christian movies premiering this year – there has not been this passion for Christian films since ‘The Passion of the Christ‘! Friendship Community Church is making plans to be present at most of the premieres within the local area. We initially will find out the number of people interested in going and then arrange for a group event, advising of admission price and other details as they are determined.

  • Son of Godpremière date Friday, February 28th. Friendship plans will be in attendance Saturday, March 1st at the matinée, scheduled to air at the Ontario Mills AMC 30 Theaters. Christian Film DataBase info.
FINAL UPDATE: Friendship members will meet at the theater entrance for the 11:45 a.m. showing. Tickets are $7.00 for adults, buy ahead or at the window. If you have any questions, contact Shelley Norman. Arrive early if you can. Let us know you’re coming so we can attempt to sit in same area.

  • Friday, March 21, God’s not Dead première date in our area. Again Friendship will be in attendance. Trailer. Christian Film DataBase review.
FINAL UPDATE: Two options (we will be in smaller groups) at the Edwards Ontario Mills: Saturday matinée at 11:00 a.m. or night  at 7:30 p.m. If you have any questions contact Shelley or Norma. Arrive early if you can. If you let us know you’re coming, we’ll arrange to sit in same area.

  • March 27 is the motion picture production about the biblical Noah release date.
UPDATE: Two options (we will be in smaller groups) at the Fontana Regency 8 – the Saturday 29th matinée at 1pm and the in 7pm evening. If you have any questions contact Shelley. Arrive early if you can. If you let us know you’re coming, we’ll make arrangements to sit in same area.

  • A Resurrection Celebration season offering, Heaven is for Real, premieres in April. Those who went to Friendship’s viewing of the earlier movies viewed a trailer for this movie — belief provoking. Update: http://wp.me/p3YXVt-1mW

  • A May offering, Return to the Hiding Place. Based on a True Story … “Corrie (ten Boom)’s Teenage Army”.

  • On October 3rd, Left Behind premieres. Friendship plans will be in attendance Saturday, October 4th at the matinée; details forthcoming.
Upon viewing the trailer, Pastor says “Although a ‘hollywood production’, don’t be fooled! This latest rendition of Left Behind appears to be a serious, intense and somber look at the end times”.

If you have interest in joining us for any of these events let us know the number of adults/children in your party.

Enjoy and support this exciting year of Christian film-making.
