And Elkanah knew Hannah his wife, and the LORD remembered her. And in due time Hannah conceived and bore a son, and she called his name Samuel, for she said, “I have asked for him from the LORD” – Each of us reading these verses are an answer to a mother’s prayer. We honor all of the love and sacrifices that our mothers gave to bear us, and we thank the Lord for remembering our mothers and giving us life in His answer to their prayers. Happy Mothers Day!
